Privacy policy
OneShot is a cashier app for iPad and iPhone. It recognises products with the camera, makes PromptPay QR codes, and keeps the shop's books. All of this happens on your device.
- No account needed. Without signing in, OneShot sends nothing anywhere: no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Everything stays on your device.
- Optional account (backup and sync). If you sign in, OneShot stores a copy of your shop so you can restore it and use it on your other devices: your email address and account ID; the shop's name and PromptPay ID; products, prices and costs; sales, refunds, day closes and stock; and photos of products you teach. It is stored with Supabase in Singapore, encrypted in transit, readable only by your account, and used only to run this feature. It is kept until you delete your account. We never sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to track you.
- Deleting your data. In Settings › Account › Delete account you can delete your account and everything stored for it on our server, at once. Signing out keeps the shop on your device; deleting the app deletes the device's copy. Under Thailand's PDPA you may also ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion.
- Camera. Camera frames are processed on the device to recognise products. They are not sent anywhere unless you turn on "Help improve OneShot" (below). Photos you choose to keep (taught products, cashier picks) are saved in OneShot's folder on the device.
- Helping improve OneShot (optional, off by default). If you turn this on in Settings › Help improve OneShot (or allow it when OneShot asks once), after each paid sale OneShot keeps the counter photo and the boxes and product names of the items you confirmed, plus the app version, device model and date. Faces are blurred on your device before anything is sent; prices, your shop's name and payment details are never included. Photos go up on Wi-Fi only, at most 50 a day, to Supabase in Singapore, where only the OneShot developer can read them, solely to train and test OneShot's own product-recognition models. They are never sold, shared, or sent to other companies' AI services. We keep them for up to 2 years. Turning the setting off stops it at once and deletes every photo already sent; deleting your account does the same. Your consent is optional and you can withdraw it at any time (Thailand's PDPA).
- Payments. OneShot shows a PromptPay QR code for the amount. The payment goes from the customer's bank app to yours; OneShot never sees or handles money or bank details.
- Your files. You can also back up to a folder you choose (for example iCloud Drive) from Settings › Backup; those files are yours and we never see them.
- Diagnostics. If you allow it in iOS settings, Apple may share crash reports with developers, under Apple's own privacy policy. OneShot also keeps iOS crash reports on the device so you can share them when asking for help; nothing is sent unless you share it.
- Children. OneShot is a business tool for shop owners, not for children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
